In a the real estate market it can be intimidating and exhausting. But when my family and I met Peter , he was very knowledgeable and patient with me and my wife. The Bend real estate market is quirky to say the least. With his careful study and depth of knowledge of the market, Peter Jones skillfully navigates the twists and turns. He helped me purchase a vacation condo from 3,000 miles away. He kept me apprised of offerings, and made recommendations on whether to place a bid or take a wait-n-see approach. He did virtual walk-throughs (he in-person and me on the east coast) of two units. He gave me his impressions of the conditions of the walls, ceilings, floors, appliances, décor, etc. He gave me information and contacts for short-term rental possibilities. He advocated for me as the lender began to get behind on processing, and he facilitated communication between the lender and title company through the moment of closing. He was never farther than a text away. I feel he went above and beyond for my purchase. I’m confident he’ll bring the same level of skill and care to your deal.

Peter is intuitive, honest, knowledgeable in all facets of real estate transactions, professional, available, efficient, and patient with the process but acts quickly if the need arises. He explores all of the details and his advice is always worth considering. If something arises that Peter is unfamiliar with, not only does he say so, he then finds out the answer. Peter is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He is extremely easy to work with and explains all of the confusing details in a way that is easy to understand. He always responds quickly to emails. He is very knowledgeable about the structure of houses and explained the difference between siding on two houses. He got the listing price down by $10,000, even though the price had already been reduced by the home owners. Peter is very friendly and doesn't mind answering my stupid questions. He also recommended a great lender to us. Peter made the whole home buying process very easy. I would highly recommend him!

Peter Jones is an amazing realtor and exceeded all my expectations. He is personable, intuitive and a good listener. I was interested in a single story and there wasn’t many on the market to choose from that I liked. He suggested I look at a new community of homes and told me about one in the early stages of construction. I looked at it the same day and put a deposit on it that afternoon knowing it wouldn’t be on the market for long. It was perfect for me! It had all the things I wanted, 1200 s/f. 3 bedroom and 2 baths, hardwood floors, fenced in backyard for my dog, and a fireplace! I felt like I won the jackpot! He worked with the sales staff on my behalf through the whole process and I was grateful I didn’t have to worry about anything. He is a master negotiator. Because of his sharp negotiating skills I was able to get extra incentives from the builder I didn’t even know you could ask for. He knows real estate and construction and pays attention to details. He even found some things the home inspector overlooked prior to closing. He also helped me during the closing process and made sure I was up to date on what needed to be done next. I was impressed on how quickly he got back to me regarding answering my many questions. For all these reasons I highly recommend Peter to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

Peter was our realtor for our recent purchase in Bend, and our experience with him was hugely positive from start to finish. When we started, we were considering moving to Bend from Portland, and were squarely on the fence about that major decision. Peter wasn’t phased. He was patient and gracious, driving us around, orienting us to neighborhoods, and helping us develop an understanding of the Bend real estate market, even though he knew that we might not move forward in the end. On more than one occasion, he got us in to see a house on a moment’s notice. When we fell in love with a house far before we were ready, he made himself fully available to counsel us through that decision, answering loads of questions and sometimes being on the phone with us for up to an hour. We talked through many different scenarios, and he never lost patience or ran out of time for us. When we decided to make our offer, he was an excellent advisor, and he continued to provide us sound advice through each phase of the process. He especially shone during the inspection — he even got down on the floor to get a closer look at the gas fireplace, and got in the crawlspace to look it over! Talk about thorough representation! The whole transaction went off without a hitch. We could not have asked for more. On a personal level, Peter was a great match for us because he’s an avid outdoorsman (as are we) who lived in Portland for many years (just like us), so he understood what was appealing to us on multiple levels. He has a wealth of experience with owning/rehabbing houses (as do we) and knows what to look for in a quality home without overpaying. Walking through houses with him was like having a two for one: real estate agent and DIY home inspector wrapped up in one person. This was something we really appreciated, having worked with other real estate agents that did not have this understanding and experience. Peter is smart, devoted, hardworking, and exceedingly kind and generous of spirit. We knew nothing about Bend, I had never even been to Bend! If I fast forward I believe this was the fastest and most efficient process I have ever experienced in buying and closing a house. Yes, we flew to Bend within a couple of weeks after that famous phone call, knowing quit a lot about Bend based on Peter's guidance. We spend plenty of time looking around, but focused on an area and a house, made an offer that was right on target. We live in another state, so Peter was there for us every step of the way; he not only managed our transaction with the builder/agent, he managed the inspection, then went back and made sure it was all done correctly (he has very relevant background in knowing what he is looking at and what he is looking for) and then when the house closed he made sure it was perfect before accepting our keys. What a great, and trusting agent. We are thankful and grateful for all he did for us. I would highly recommend Peter to anyone. Plus, on top of all this, he is a really nice guy!
